Tramway currently hosts the sound installation A=P=P=A=R=I=T=I=O=N, a collaboration between Welsh artist Cerith Wyn Evans and the experimental music collective Throbbing Gristle. "Audio spotlight" panels emit directional columns of sound while polished circular mirrors present the viewer with a constantly shifting perspective. The combined effect is both wonderfully calming and slightly unnerving - you're never quite sure from where Genesis P-Orridge's manipulated vocals will be projected next. The installation runs until Sunday 27th September. Don't miss it.
